Our barges

A 311 ft. long and 36 ft. wide, very well equipped river cruise ship. The vessel has 56 cabins, all of these cabins have a window.

The lower deck offers space to 30 twin cabins (11 m² – 135 sq.ft.).
The upper deck has 18 twin cabins (11 m² – 135 sq.ft.) and 8 spacious suites (15 m² – 200 sq.ft.).

All twin cabins have two separate single beds (200 x 80 cm – 78 x 31 inches), the suites have two separate beds set next to each other as a hotel style bed (200 x 160 cm – 78 x 62 inches) which, on previous request, can be arranged as two separate single beds.

All 56 cabins have an individual climate control system, digital TV, wardrobe, mini-safe, hair dryer, 230V and 115V sockets and a private bathroom with shower, toilet and basin.
The twin cabins have a large picture window (140 x 90 cm – 55 x 35 inches) that can be partly opened. The suites have the same amenities as the twin cabins, but are larger and – in addition – also have a minibar, a “French Balcony” (floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors) instead of a window.

Description of the ship
De Amsterdam has a spacious restaurant on the lower deck. The pleasant lounge on the upper deck has large windows around, which offers you a great view of the surroundings. There is also a bar with a dance floor. Wi-Fi is available. On the partially roofed sun deck, chairs and sun loungers invite for a stay. Bicycles will be stored on a separate part of the sun deck.

De Holland is a medium-sized cozy river cruise ship built in 1952 and completely refitted in 2017/2018.

Lower deck
There are 24 twin cabins (10 m² – 108 sq.ft.). Three twin cabins in the front have two separate beds, set next to each other as a hotel style bed (200 x 160 cm – 78 x 62 inches) and an additional fold away bunk bed as optional third bed (only for children).
21 Twin cabins have two separate beds, set next to each other as a hotel style bed (200 x 160 cm – 78 x 62 inches). All lower deck cabins have a window (80 x 40 cm – 31 x 16 inches) that – for safety reasons – cannot be opened.

Upper deck
There are 9 identical twin cabins (10 m² – 108 sq.ft.) and 1 Suite (13 m² – 140 sq.ft.), all with two separate beds set next to each other as a hotel style bed (200 x 160 cm – 78 x 62 inches). All upper deck cabins and the suite have a “French Balcony” (floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors) instead of a regular window.

On previous request, in most cabins beds, normally set as hotel-style beds, can be arranged as two separate single beds.

All 34 cabins aboard De Holland have an individual climate control system, digital TV, mini-safe, small wardrobe, hair dryer, 230V sockets and a private bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. The Suite has the same amenities as the superior twin cabins but is larger.

Common areas


De Holland has a large salon with large panoramic windows on the upper deck that combines the restaurant, bar and a lounge area. Wi-Fi is available. On the partially roofed sun deck, chairs and sun loungers invite for a stay. Here you can relax and have a drink and enjoy the scenery while sailing. Bicycles will be stored on a separate part of the sun deck.

De Nassau is a cozy medium-sized river cruise ship.

Lower deck cabins
The lower deck features 21 twin cabins and one single cabin.

There are 12 regular twin cabins (10m² / 108sq.ft.) at the back and middle of the lower deck, each with two single low beds (200x80cm / 78×31 inches).

One cabin has the possibility for a third bunk bed (above one of the beds), while the single cabin (9m² / 97sq.ft.) has one low bed (200x80cm / 78×31 inches).

At the front of the lower deck are nine newly-renovated “superior” cabins (9.5–11.5 m² / 102–124sq.ft.).

Two superior cabins feature a double bed (200x160cm / 78×62 inches), while the other seven feature two separate beds set together as a hotel-style bed (200×160 cm / 78×62 inches).
If requested in advance, these hotel-style beds can be arranged as two separate single beds (200x80cm / 78×31 inches).

Upper deck cabins
The upper deck offers 12 twin cabins (9-10 m² / 97-108sq.ft.):
10 cabins with two single low beds (200x80cm / 78×31 inches), and two with a double bed (200x140cm / 78×55 inches).
Four upper deck cabins have the possibility for a third bunk bed (above one of the beds).

All 34 cabins have a window that can be opened, an individual climate control system, mini-safe, small wardrobe, hair dryer, 230V sockets and a private bathroom with shower, toilet and basin.

Common areas
De Nassau has a large salon with large panoramic windows on the upper deck that combines the restaurant, bar and a lounge area. Wi-Fi is available.

On the partially covered sun deck, chairs and sun loungers invite for a stay. Here you can relax, have a drink and enjoy the scenery while sailing. Bicycles are stored on a separate part of the sun deck.

The barge De Willemstad is equipped with:

All cabins are ‘outside cabins’ that are equipped with two single beds, TV, mini safe and individually controlled air conditioning. Each cabin has a bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer.

Common areas

In the salon / bar with large panoramic windows on the upper deck, you can review the day’s experiences in a pleasant way while enjoying a beer or a glass of wine. Your physical well-being is taken care of in the tastefully furnished and air-conditioned restaurant on the lower deck. The spacious and partly covered sundeck offers space to let the landscape pass comfortably in a deck chair. The bicycles are stored on the rear part of the sun deck.

The barge Fiep is equipped with:

- 12 standard twin cabins (ca. 10/8 m2)

Ten twin cabins have two separate single beds and two twin cabins have two split level beds. These two twin cabins can also be used as singles by folding up the split level bed. Each cabin has a private shower, toilet and basin. Windows can be opened and the cabins have central heating and air-conditioning. Furthermore, in each cabin you will find a mini safe and hair dryer.

Common areas

On the upper deck, there is the air-conditioned lounge, a spacious sitting area with wide screen TV, a cozy bar and a large sundeck.  Wi-Fi is available. The sundeck is the ideal place to drink a cup of coffee or an aperitif and to enjoy the scenery while cruising. The meals of excellent quality are served in the air-conditioned dining room, located on the lower deck.

The Fleur started cruising in 2002.

Description of the cabins
On the lower deck, the Fleur has 10 comfortable guest cabins (9 m² – 97 sq.ft.) with two separate single beds.
Each cabin has a private shower, toilet and basin, central heating and air-conditioning; windows are fixed for safety reasons. Furthermore, in each cabin you will find a mini safe and hair dryer.

Common areas
On the upper deck, there is a lounge with large windows, a roomy sitting area, a dining area, a cozy bar, central heating and air-conditioning. Wi-Fi is available.

On the upper deck you will also find the half-covered sun deck, which is the ideal place to drink a cup of coffee or an aperitif and to enjoy the scenery while cruising.

The barge Flora is equipped with:

- 11  twin cabins (of which 2 can become triple with a bunk bed)

All cabins measure 8m2. Each cabin has a private shower, toilet and basin. The windows in the cabins can be opened and the cabins have central heating. Furthermore, in each cabin you will find a mini safe. A hairdryer is available upon request.

Common areas

The lounge, nostalgically furnished, offers an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. In the lounge you will find the bar and the dining area. On nice evenings while cruising, you can enjoy the scenery from the sundeck.

A comfortable river barge for max. 44 guests. The Fluvius has eighteen twin cabins and four double cabins.

Upper deck cabins
On the upper deck, there are 3 standard twin cabins (11 m² – 118 sq.ft. ) with two separate single beds and 4 double cabins (12 m² – 129 sq.ft. ) with a double bed (140 x 200 cm) and a large panoramic window.

Lower deck cabins
On the lower deck you will find 14 standard twin cabins (11 m² – 118 sq.ft.) and 1 smaller twin cabin (10 m² – 108 sq.ft.), all of which have two separate single beds. On prior request, a child’s cot can be placed in two of the standard twin cabins.

Each cabin has an en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. All twin cabins have a fixed window, the panoramic window in the double cabins can be opened. Each cabin has an individually adjustable air-conditioning unit, a ventilation system, a flatscreen TV and a hair dryer.

Description of the ship
The Fluvius has a large lounge (air-conditioned) with TV, bar and a semi-separate restaurant area. Wi-Fi is available. The barge also has a large sun deck with sitting places (tables and chairs) and a storage room for the bikes. While cruising, you can enjoy the scenery from here.

The beautiful Gandalf is a small and comfortable passenger barge that can accommodate 20 guests.

The cabins
The Gandalf has 10 twin cabins (10 m² – 108 sq.ft.) with two separate beds.

In two of the cabins a bunk bed as third bed is possible (on request).

Each cabin has a recently renovated bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. Windows can be opened and the cabins have ventilation and central heating.

Common areas
On the upper deck of the Gandalf you will find the large and cozy lounge with the bar and dining area. Wi-Fi is available. The barge also has two large sundecks with storage room for the bicycles and sitting areas with tables and chairs, where you can have a drink.

This sailing ship is an imposing three-mast barquentine. The interior of this luxury ship can best be described as refined.

The cabins

On the lower deck, the Leafde fan Fryslân has

• 10 twin cabins (10 m² – 107 sq.ft.) and one smaller twin cabin (9 m² – 96.8 sq.ft.), with two single beds, which can be set together in most cabins
• one junior suite (12 m² – 129 sq.ft.) with two single beds, which can be set together and a small sitting area 
• one small single cabin (7 m² – 75 sq.ft.). 

Some of the twin cabins can be booked as a three-bed cabin (the third bed as bunk). 

Each cabin has an en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. All cabins have ventilation and heating, portholes and a hatch that can be opened (except for the single cabin, in this cabin the window can’t be opened and there is no hatch).

Furthermore, in each cabin you will find a hairdryer and a mini safe.

Common areas

On the lower deck you will find the restaurant in nautical style. In the wheelhouse on the upper deck, the ship offers a cosy lounge which is equipped with large panoramic windows, a well-appointed seating area , TV and a well equipped bar. Wi-Fi is available.

The barge Lena Maria is equipped with:

Magnifique is 63 meters long and it accommodates max. 35 guests.

The cabins
The Magnifique has 16 cabins, situated on the lower deck.

Guests are accommodated in:

• 11 twin cabins (11 m² – 118.5 sq.ft.) with two single beds set next to each other
• 4 premium twin cabins (14 m² – 151 sq.ft.) with two single beds next to each other and a small sitting area
• 1 single cabin (7 m² – 75.5 sq.ft.)

On prior request, the beds in most twin cabins can be set together as a double bed. On request, an additional bed is available in some twin cabins for children up to age 16 (as fold away bunk bed, above one of the other beds).

Each cabin has an en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. All cabins have an individually regulated air conditioning, ventilation system and central heating; the portholes in all cabins are fixed for safety reasons. Furthermore, each cabin has a flat screen (satellite) TV, a mini safe and a hair dryer.

Common areas
On the upper deck, the Magnifique has a tastefully furnished lounge with air conditioning, restaurant, a beautiful bar, a sitting area with cozy corners, a wide screen TV and large windows. Wi-Fi is available.

Furthermore, the Magnifique offers two partly covered teak wooden sundecks with chairs and tables where you can have a drink when the weather is nice and enjoy the scenery while cruising. On the elevated aft deck you will find a barbecue and a whirlpool/Jacuzzi to relax.

The 63 meter long barge can accommodate up to 37 guests.

The cabins
The lower deck has thirteen cabins:
- 1 "premium" twin cabin (13 m² – 140 sq.ft.) with two separate single beds and a small sitting area
- 12 beautiful twin cabins (11 m² – 118 sq.ft.) with 2 separate single beds.

The upper deck has 4 spacious suites (14 m² – 151 sq.ft.) with two separate single beds, a small sitting area and large panoramic windows, of which the middle part can be opened.

In most cabins, on prior request, the beds can be set together as a double bed.

On request, an extra bed is available in two twin cabins and one upper deck suite for children up to age 16 (above one of the other beds).

All cabins have en-suite facilities with a shower, toilet and sink. The cabins on the lower deck have portholes (fixed for safety reasons), upper deck suites have 2 m / 6.6 ft. wide windows (which can be partly opened) and the air conditioning in all cabins can be individually regulated. Furthermore, in each cabin you will find a flat screen satellite TV, a mini safe and a hair dryer.

Common areas
The upper deck has a large, tastefully furnished and spacious salon with a restaurant area, a beautiful bar and a lounge area with cozy sitting area, a wide screen TV and large panoramic windows. Wi-Fi is available.

The Magnifique II has a beautiful, partly covered teak wooden sun deck with chairs and tables on the aft deck and a cycle storage on the front deck. On the top deck, the barge has a whirlpool/Jacuzzi and some deckchairs to relax while you enjoy the scenery when cruising.

The premium barge Magnifique III can host 40 persons. It is 67 m long.

The cabins
The lower deck has 14 beautiful twin cabins (12 m² – 129 sq.ft.) with two separate single beds and 2 single cabins (9 m² – 97 sq.ft.). All these cabins have portholes (fixed for safety reasons).

The upper deck has 5 spacious suites (16 m² – 172 sq.ft.) with two separate single beds, a small sitting area and a “French Balcony”: ceiling-to-floor sliding glass doors that can be partly opened.

In most cabins and all suites, on prior request, the beds can be set together as a double bed. On request, an additional third bed is available in one of the suites and one of the twin cabins for children up to age 16 (Pullman bed, above one of the other beds).

The air conditioning in all cabins can be individually regulated. Furthermore, in each cabin you will find a flat screen satellite TV, a mini safe and a hair dryer.

Common areas
The upper deck has a large, tastefully furnished salon with a restaurant area, a nice bar and a lounge area with cozy sitting corners, a wide screen TV and large panoramic windows.

There are also two TV screens (a camera and a navigation system) to see the real-time movement and position of the barge. Wi-Fi is available. Large glass doors open to the beautiful partially roofed teak wood sundeck with chairs and tables on the aft deck.

There is a cycle deck on the front deck. On the top deck, the barge has a whirlpool/Jacuzzi and some deckchairs to relax and enjoy the scenery while cruising.

The premium barge Magnifique IV will sail in Spring 2020. It is 67 m long and can host up to 36 persons.

The cabins
The upper deck houses 10 generous suites, while the lower deck houses 8 twin cabins.
The spacious suites, each measuring 16 m² (172 ft²), have double beds, a cozy sitting area, and French balcony with floor-to-ceiling glass doors.

The twin cabins below deck, measuring 12 m² (129 ft²) feature two single beds and fixed portholes.

All cabins have their own private bathroom with shower, basin and toilet; as well as individually-regulated air-conditioning, flat screen satellite TV, mini safe and hair dryer.

Common areas
The Magnifique IV’s upper deck features a spacious and tastefully-decorated salon with bar and lounge area. Here you will find large panoramic windows, a widescreen TV, and information screens displaying the barge’s real-time location. Wi-Fi is also available.

The comfortable and inviting restaurant is in the lower deck, and is separated from the kitchen by a glass wall, so you can see the talented chefs in action.

Large glass doors open onto a beautiful partially-covered teak sundeck, furnished with tables and chairs.

The front deck has space to accommodate bicycles, while the top deck boasts a hot tub and deckchairs, from which you can enjoy the scenery.

The sailing boat Mare Fan Fryslan is 54 m long and can host 40 people. 

The cabins

On the lower deck there are 14 comfortable cabins:

• 12 ensuite twin cabins featuring two separate  beds, with the possibility of adding a third bunk bed (9 m² – 97 sq.ft.); 
• one junior suite (11 m² – 118 sq.ft.) with two single beds which can be joined together and a small sitting area with a flat screen TV;
• one single cabin (6 m² – 65 sq.ft.). 

All cabins have ventilation, central heating and portholes that can be opened. 

Furthermore, each cabin has a mini safe and a hairdryer. 

Common areas

Common rooms and restaurant are also on the lower deck, while on the upper deck there are a bar and a relax area provided with external Jacuzzi.

The Sarah, with her length of 45 meters and width of 6.5 meters, is a comfortable and cozy passenger barge.

The cabins
The Sarah has 10 comfortable cabins (10 m² – 108 sq.ft.). There are:

• 6 twin cabins with two single beds
• 2 twin/triple cabins with two single beds and a bunk bed
• 2 double cabins with one double bed.

In one of the twin cabins, on prior request the beds can be set together.

Each cabin has a private shower, toilet and basin. The cabins all have a ventilation system, central heating and windows that can be opened. Furthermore, you will find a mini safe and hair dryer in each cabin. The corridor is air-conditioned, thus also cooling the cabins.

Common areas
On the upper deck of the Sarah you will find the cozy air conditioned open lounge with large windows, a TV, a dining area and a bar. Wi-Fi is available. Please note that due to the mobile network connection, the quality is not always stable.

The barge also has a beautiful sundeck, partially with awning. On nice evenings you can have dinner over here and while cruising, you can enjoy the scenery.

In 1965 the sailing ship was launched as a cargo ship. In 2003 the ship was completely transformed into a sailing passenger ship.

The cabins

On the lower deck, the Wapen fan Fryslân has 12 identical twin cabins (8,5 m² – 91 sq.ft.), each with two separate single beds which can be set together, and a folding bed as a third bed which can be used if needed. 

In each cabin there is a bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. All cabins have ventilation, central heating and 2 portholes of which one can be opened. 

Furthermore, you will find a mini safe in each cabin.

Common areas

On the lower deck the ship offers a large lounge/restaurant with TV. From here you can reach the large wheelhouse with a cosy and stylish bar and seating area. The panoramic windows offer a perfect all around view of the water. Wi-Fi is available.

The afterdeck has an outdoor cafe with draught beer tap and a Jacuzzi and on the middle deck there are various sitting areas and there is room to enjoy a lovely meal outdoors to watch the scenery while sailing.

The Zwaantje (little Swan) is a new built passenger barge.

The cabins
On the lower deck, the Zwaantje has 12 comfortable guest cabins.

• 10 twins (7 m² – 75 sq.ft.) with two separate single beds
• 2 doubles (6 m² – 65 sq.ft.) with one double bed.

Each cabin has a private shower, toilet and basin. All cabins have ventilation, central heating, air-conditioning and a window. Furthermore, in each cabin you will find a mini safe and hair dryer.

The windows in the doubles can be opened, the windows in the twins are fixed for safety reasons.

Common areas
On the upper deck you will find the nice and cozy salon with heating, air conditioning, large panoramic windows, a restaurant area, lounge corner and a small bar. Wi-Fi is available.

The Zwaantje also has a very spacious sun deck with chairs and tables where you can relax, enjoy the scenery while sailing or join the skipper in the wheel house.
